Exam Format
- 30–40 multiple-choice and scenario questions
- Blueprint-weighted: ~17% D1 / 40% D2 / 24% D3 / 19% D4
- Passing threshold: 80%
- One retake allowed (initial attempt + one retake)
- Auto-graded; results emailed to the instructor immediately
- All PII and results stay on the instructor's Proxmox box — no SaaS phone-home
Unofficial, CompTIA-aligned practice — not the official exam.This workshop exam is mapped to the official SecAI+ CY0-001 (V1) objectives but uses an 80% workshop mastery bar. The real SecAI+ exam differs: it is scored 600 on a 100–900 scale, runs up to 60 questions in 60 minutes, and mixes multiple-choice and performance-based questions (PBQs). Our items are all multiple-choice / scenario and auto-graded — there are no PBQs here.
How It Works
- Enter your access code (
SECAI-XXXX) — this is your identity, no password needed. - Answer all questions; you may review before submitting.
- Submit — your score is computed immediately and emailed to the instructor.
- If you didn't pass, you may retake once. After the retake, your code is retired.

Access Codes
Access codes (SECAI-XXXX) are pre-generated by the instructor using scripts/gen-roster.py and distributed alongside SSH credentials at the start of the workshop. Each code is single-use; retake limits are enforced server-side.
